Rumble Records signs the Dead Deads

Photo credit: Jeremy Ryan NASHVILLE, October 2020 - Rumble Records is proud to announce Nashville alternative rockers The Dead Deads as the label’s first signing. “I saw a band that was doing what they wanted and not following marching orders from anyone,” said Rumble Records founder Dave Rumohr. “I felt it was a true insight into who and where they were when writing, recording and playing live. They welcome all fans and create a family environment, always willing to take the time to interact with people.” Said The Dead Deads’ drummer McQueen Dead, “We saw immense artistic support with Rumble Records. We felt this is a label we trust, who offers us the freedom and opportunity to do the largest, most comprehensive recording and release that we've ever been able to do.” The Dead Deads cherry pick everything good about grunge, hard rock, indie, classic metal and punk to create a unique style of alternative music that can not be summed up with one simple label. Featuring McQueen on drums, Daisy on bass and Meta on guitar, the power trio coax classic metal and grunge riffs into pop hooks, iced with dynamic vocals that range from sweet melodies and harmonies to shocking screams and even the occasional growl. In a relatively short time, the band has performed on more than a dozen US tours, two Canadian tours and four cruises, and have been invited to join tours with Seether, Bush, Chevelle, Stone Sour and other national acts. To date, the trio has released a live album, The Dead Shall Dance, two studio albums, and split 7” inch single. The Dead Deads’ Rumble Records debut Tell Your Girls It’s Alright is scheduled to be released in early 2021. “We realize how lucky we are to have aligned with a team that values the art above the business,” said Daisy Dead. “We don't take that for granted, and so we can only repay the kindness by giving the best of ourselves to the project. They say whatever you focus on grows, and we've stayed song focused.” Guitarist/vocalist Meta Dead added, “This is a collection of the best songs we can deliver. Some are perfect for radio--some might not be, but they're all crafted with the attention one would give a single, and as a team we all believe that will make this album stand-out.” For Rumohr’s part, The Dead Deads encapsulate everything he loves about music and are the perfect signing to launch his new label. “Music fits into almost every aspect of life and I have always felt a deep connection with various styles and genres and strive to always hear more,” he said. “I have worked with bands for many years and have always had the desire to start an independent label, when the time was right. I always felt that artists need to be given as much freedom to create and have as little limitations or restrictions as possible.
